C is for Chocolate

White plate with small chocolate lava cake that has a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top that is drizzled with bittersweet chocolate sauce

Oh so decadent molten lava cake with Heath Bar Crunch ice cream and Godiva Chocolate Liqueur!

Okay, I confess, I am a chocoholic. Hardly a day goes by without me popping a tasty dark chocolate morsel in my mouth. It definitely has to be semisweet or bittersweet and the best quality I can find like Valrhona, Callebaut or Ghirardelli. The chocolate doesn’t have to be in its purist state however. It can be sweet or savory. I love a good Mexican mole or the lobster tacos I saw the other day on Grill It! with dark chocolate covered bacon, yummmmmm. It can be baked in brownies or Devils Food or whirred in a blender with ice cream and milk. Or Toll House cookies with great big chunks of it. Mmmmm a rich warm Chocolate Soufflé right out of the oven or even Molten Chocolate Cake that oozes chocolate like hot lava when you put your fork into it to take the first bite. Ooooh mint chocolate chip ice cream dripping with thick, sensuous, sexy hot fudge on top of warm crisp Belgian waffles. Be still my heart…….
