Ingredients
โข 1 piece of Old Amsterdam Classic to shave
โข 1 sweet apple cut into slices
โข 1 shrub of chicory
โข 4 slices of buckwheat walnut bread
โข 2 tsp Dijon mustard
โข 1 handful of arugula
Slices of turkey or ham, 1/4 pound for each sandwich, optional but very delicious!
Instructions
1. Cut the endive in half lengthwise, cut the bitter, hard part from the bottom and cut the leaves into strips.
2. Spread the slices of bread with a thin layer of Dijon mustard and place the arugula and chicory on top.
3. Divide some slices of apple on top and then cover with slices of Old Amsterdam Classic.
4. Add turkey or ham if using
5. Then finish the sandwich with a slice of bread and enjoy!
Notes
Pro Tip:ย Also very tasty: Drizzle the arugula and chicory lightly with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
